Kate Joins the Lab

Dr. Kate DaPron is joining the lab as a postdoctoral researcher. She comes to us from CU Boulder, where she earned her Ph.D. in the Sousa Lab studying how the biophysical properties of bacterial effector proteins let them unfold and pass through the Type III Secretion System. She brings single-molecule force spectroscopy and protein biophysics to our work on viral fusion and structure-based antigen design. Welcome, Kate!
